Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information the Inspection Report Android app ("the App"), to be published by Trishunya Infotech ("we", "us"), handles, how it is used, and the choices you have. Inspection Report is a site inspection and report-writing app for organising projects, recording observations with photos and composing reports.

Pre-release draft. Inspection Report has not been released yet. This page describes how the app is designed to handle data and will be reviewed and finalised before the app is published. If anything changes - for example a new third-party service - this page will be updated first.

1. Accounts & identity

Inspection Report is designed to work without an account for core use. If optional sync or sharing is added, it will be described here before release.

2. Information the App handles

Projects, drawings or sheets you import, observations, photos, notes and locations you record, and the reports you compose. These are stored on your device. Files leave your device only when you export or share a report yourself.

3. Permissions the App requests, and why

Permission	Purpose
Camera	Capturing observation photos.
Photos / files access	Importing drawings and photos, and saving reports.
Location (foreground)	Optional location on an observation.
Microphone	Optional voice notes on an observation.

The App does not request access to your contacts, SMS or call log. Permissions that are not essential are requested only when you use the feature that needs them, and the App continues to work if you decline them.

4. Third-party services

If optional AI-assisted features that send text or images off your device are added, they will be opt-in, will be named here, and will say what they receive. Any ad or analytics service will be listed here first.

5. Data retention and deletion

Data stored on your device can be deleted at any time from within the App, or removed entirely by uninstalling it. Files you have exported or shared with other apps are outside the App's control once they leave it.

6. Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will address it.

7. Security

We aim to keep your data on your device and to use encrypted connections for any data that is sent over a network. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including at release and whenever features or third-party services are added. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
