Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Here & Home Android application ("the App"), provided by Trishunya Infotech ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. What the App does

Here & Home is an offline-first travel companion: a home screen widget that converts a foreign price to your home currency, a dual local/home clock, weather and trip data, and an in-app expense tracker with optional Group Trip sharing, offline survival guides, and mapping tools. The App is free to use and contains ads (a banner and an optional rewarded video, with no ads for the first 15 days after install); how ads and measurement work is described in the Privacy Policy. The App is intended for users aged 18 and over.

2. Licence to use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App for your personal travel and expense-tracking use, subject to these Terms.

4. Group Trips & shared data

When you join or create a Group Trip, expenses you mark "Shared" become visible to other members of that trip via the trip's join code. You are responsible for who you share a trip code with. We are not responsible for disputes between trip members over shared expenses or settlement calculations, which are provided for convenience only.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

The App and its data are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that exchange rates, weather data, map data, or emergency information will be uninterrupted, error-free, or current at all times.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trishunya Infotech shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages - including but not limited to financial loss from currency conversion decisions, missed connections from clock or weather data, or harm arising from reliance on the survival guide or emergency features - arising from your use of the App. Use of the App is at your own risk.

7. Intellectual property

The App's software, design, and compiled content are owned by Trishunya Infotech and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party data (exchange rates, weather, map tiles) remains the property of its respective providers and is used under their terms.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or misuse the App's Group Trip sync or emergency-signal features (for example, sending false Fall-in signals), or use the App in any way that is unlawful or infringes the rights of any third party.

9. Changes to the App or these Terms

We may update the App or these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or discontinue the App, or any of its connected services (including Group Trip sync), in whole or in part, at our discretion.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
