Terms of Use

Last updated: 29 September 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the SaveLocal Android application ("the App"), provided by Trishunya Infotech ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. What the App does

SaveLocal is a utility that appears in Android's Share Sheet. When you share one or more files to it from another app, it copies them to a folder on your device - Downloads by default, or a custom folder you choose - and keeps a short local history of what was saved. It is not a file manager, a cloud service, or a backup tool.

2. Licence to use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App for your personal or professional use, subject to these Terms.

3. Your files and your responsibility

The App copies whatever another app shares with it. You are responsible for the files you save - including making sure you have the right to keep, copy, or use them, and complying with any copyright, licence, confidentiality, or workplace rules that apply. We do not inspect, screen, or verify the content of any file.

What the App can save depends on the sending app and on Android. Some apps restrict sharing, share only a preview or a compressed copy, or provide a file that cannot be read; in those cases the App may not be able to save it, or the saved copy may differ from the original. Always check that an important file has been saved correctly before you delete the original.

4. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, reliability, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, that every file will be saved successfully, or that it will work with every app or every version of Android.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trishunya Infotech shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages - including but not limited to loss or corruption of files, unsuccessful or incomplete saves, insufficient device storage, loss of data, or business interruption - arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. You use the App at your own risk and are responsible for keeping your own backups.

6. Intellectual property

The App's software, design, name, and icon are owned by Trishunya Infotech and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership of them. The files you save remain yours, or their respective owners' - the App claims no rights over them.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App, or to use it in any way that is unlawful or infringes the rights of any third party, including by saving or distributing material you have no right to copy.

8. Changes to the App or these Terms

We may update the App or these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it; files you have already saved stay on your device. We may suspend or discontinue the App, in whole or in part, at our discretion.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
